Canine Epilepsy - Fly-Biting - Treatment? Prognosis? - canine epilepsy symptoms

I asked a question earlier biting flies frequently on my previous episodes 4yo £ 5 Chi in the air track invisible. Loki_Wolfchild was kind enough to link to this article sets out in detail exactly what happens: http://www.canine-epilepsy.net/flybite/f ...

In fact, it is customary to put into complex partial seizures with epilepsy secondary connection. Let the vet tomorrow afternoon instead.

I wish the owner or a veterinarian, pets for diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy have to know .. What kind of life they expect to result if the crisis got worse / more frequent or discontinuation of treatment may be, is the treatment you will always be the best (ie, phenobarbital and potassium bromide, the one against the other), frequency of treatment . .. everything you tell me their experiences.

Serious replies only! I want to talk as much information as possible to the vet tomorrow. I want you to be good and lead a happy life. Thank you!

not predict what the future brings. some worse, some are well controlled with medication.

When you let go into a great evil that it is time.

different dogs respond to different treatments.

I would definitely put in a whole life, if it receives no chemicals. also HW and flea med is it? which can lead to problems.

My little poodle is really only a crisis, but they had similar effects of Parkinson's disease - tremor. took Phenobarb & sclaranthus - a Bach flower shop healthy foods.

This disease is very different.
Some dogs have a lifespan of rare seizures have several seizures per day per hour!

Therefore varies depending on the case, complex and unique.
This will be a matter of the right choice for your dog. Sometimes trial and error) until the right drug (s job.

I would say that there is a progressive disease. Meaning, it will get worse with time. How quickly and badly, in turn, depends on each case and each dog.

Talk to your veterinarian about ongoing care. What they offer, prices, etc. Please give 24 hours service, I propose a hospital which is not before you need it. You do not want to seek urgent.

Moreover, whether a veterinary school, study or in your neighborhood. We offer products and services not available to the veterinary hospital adverage.

Good luck to you. I hope that everything goes well.

You have a group of addresses that can be very useful. When I encourage my little girl, were the Eski seizures had very useful information. By seizures can have many causes, some of the reasons why you never know, even if all possible tests will be carried out. If your baby's seizures are only 1 or 2 per month or less, most veterinarians do not set themselves with drugs. It is, if they more frequently, 2 weeks, 4 months, etc., and depending on their severity. Fly bite can be a mild form of partial seizures. This list can also help to feed, may also help reduce seizures in some dogs.
Good luck with your baby. My heart is with you because I know how stressful it can be.
